The financial sector was reporting productivity and growth that was not in line with reality before the financial crisis (Reuters) Britain will not return to the levels of growth seen in the build-up to the 2008 financial crisis because the level of productivity being reported was misleading and unsustainable, according to a new report by a leading economic think tank.
